  Registration:  Totally not needed, but if you register we can email you about updates.

  Walk from parking: Should be about 4-5 minutes, if the parking lot is open.  If not, park in the neighbourhood.

  Details:  Join us for a relaxing day on the river in Douglasdale! Its very sunny at this spot and there is very little shade to be found so bring an umbrella or other shade if desired.

  Location information: This location is a bit of a gem for how easy it is to access yet still pretty quiet. There are occasional rafters that float by, along with other beach users that occasionally walk through. This location is far enough off the pathways that people who are simply passing through on nearby paths are unlikely to see us. We have used this spot a couple of times without issue in 2020. 

  In 2020 we had several opportunities to wave at the fire rescue boat and Fish and Wildlife boat.

  Location: Cascade Creek, upstream of Cascade Pond.
  This year will be right outside the town of Banff. Much easier to get to!

  Details: Its about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to our location. The water will be far warmer than our previous location, and there is plenty of room for Frisbee!

  We will likely have the entire area to ourselves. People can likely wander as far to the north as they care to wearing as little as they wish.

  There are pit toilets in the nearby parking lot.

  Public Transit: There is easy public transit from the town of Banff. Visit www.GetNakedBanff.ca for public transit info. The shuttle costs $2/adult for each time they get on the bus.

  Admission: FREE, bring your friends!

  Registration: Not required

  Things to bring:

  • sun block and bug spray
  • towel
  • water shoes if desired
  • snacks
  • drinking water
