Outdoor Activity Rules

Last updated: August 23 2018

Calgary Nude Recreation intends to host a series of outdoor activities such as nude hikes and river days.

1As much as we strive to normalize nudity, there is still a vulnerability associated with nude activities. Nude activities are not the proper place to be seeking out a potential life or sexual partner. Making passes or picking up on someone is not acceptable. If you ask someone to meet up with you after an activity and it is negatively received your future attendance at our activities may be restricted. We suggest choosing wisely who you invite to extracurricular social activities.

2 – Outdoor activities are strictly clothing optional.  Wear what you wish to wear. Sometimes chilly weather necessitates clothing.

3 – Pack in in, pack it out.  No littering.

4 – Ask permission before taking pictures of people, even if they are clothed.  Covert, remote, drone, or similar types of photography/videography are strictly forbidden and grounds for removal from the group.

5 – Outdoor activities are family-friendly activities.  Actions and language must be family-friendly at all times.  Sexual activity and exhibitionism are not tolerated.

6 – Anyone is welcome to join us, but persons must be physically fit for the type of activity that we are doing.  Consider the length of hike/activity and elevation.

7 – Local, provincial, and federal laws are still in effect. Use discretion in determining appropriate times/locations to be nude. Calgary Nude Recreation is not responsible for your conduct.

Note that the above rules supplement existing CNR membership and event policies.
