Calgary Facility Rules

Last updated: January 29, 2018

Calgary Nude Recreation and its events are private functions and are not organized or operated by the City of Calgary.  As a condition of using city facilities, the following additional rules and conduct will be enforced.

At all events in city facilities organizers will be wearing hats.  If you have any issues, questions, or need to report someone's inappropirate conduct, find anyone wearing a hat.

Non-negotiable rules for city facilities:

1 – Men are REQUIRED to be naked.  Women are REQUIRED to be topless, or all the way naked if they choose.  Other genders need to determine whats appropriate for themselves.  (See FAQ for more details on why.)

2 – Lifeguard staff are hired by The City of Calgary and required to conform to the conditions of their employment. It is important to remember that they are not participants in our events and that it is not acceptable to make suggestions that they undress or to harass them for being clothed while working.

3 – No photography and no videography allowed in the change rooms or pool area.  Due to the possibility of hidden cameras, if it has a battery or a microchip it is absolutely not allowed in the pool area.

4 – Children not fully trained MUST wear approved pool pants or swimming diapers.

5 – Naturist swims are family friendly events.  Actions and language must be family friendly at all times.  Sexual activity and exhibitionism are not tolerated.

6 – Swims are suitable for persons of all ages however; children (17 years of age or under) must be accompanied by their parent(s) or legal guardian(s).

7 – A towel must be used when sitting on any public surface outside of the pool itself.

8 – In addition to the above rules, the usual rules of the facility are applicable and must be obeyed.

Note that the above rules supplement existing CNR membership and event policies.

All persons will be using the same change room.  Only one change room will be available to us.
