Details: Its about a 30 minute walk to Weaselhead from the parking lot. We will peel off unwanted clothes on the dirt path away from the busy area. Be sure to bring bug spray! This hike requires mild levels of dexterity to navigate the trail.

  • a sense of adventure!

More Details: We will wear clothes out of the parking area and far enough up the trail to get to a quieter area. The hike requires a moderate degree of physical dexterity and will involve fallen logs, steep inclines/declines, mud, crouching, and some bushwhacking. It is approximately 2.5 km (each way) from the parking lot to the beach.

Location information:  Weaselhead is Calgary's long standing unofficial nude beach. On hot days there are often a number of nude sunbathers present. Occasionally, passers-by end up on the other side of the creek, but this is a mostly really secluded location. DO NOT PARK  ON WEASELHEAD ROAD TO SHORTEN THE HIKE.
