Members of CNR have secured a private group campground on provincial land 2.5 hours southwest of downtown Calgary. The site is located on the Oldman River, has a shelter with stove, and 20 individual campsites.
Dates: Friday September 14 to Sunday September 16 -- book one or both nights!
Cost: $25 per site, per night. No specific limit to the number of people per site, but they *must* all be staying in the same tent or RV. *Each night must be booked separately*
New 9/12: Free "Day Pass" registration is now available to come during the day, without staying overnight.
Location: Honeymoon Creek Provincial Recreation Area
Nudity: Alberta Parks has asked we cover up when the Warden comes through to do a site count. Otherwise, we expect this to be a private location available for our exclusive use. We consider this a "clothing optional" event.
Guests: Guests are welcome, however sites must be booked by a CNR member. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
Other Details:
- The sites can accommodate Tent or RV camping.
- No water is available on-site, this must be brought in along with everything else you need to survive overnight(s).
- Firewood will be provided for the main fire pit (assuming the fire ban has been lifted)
- Photo gallery of the campsite is available here
- The private CNR forums have been opened to accommodate discussion of carpool or site sharing. Due to the site security settings, all posts will appear as "Anonymous". You must include identifying details like phone number and/or email address to facilitate contact.
- The Outdoor Activity Rules are in effect for this event.
Ticket Cancellation: Purchased tickets can be cancelled up to 2 days prior to the event start, however a full refund will not be provided. The ticket cost will sit on your account as a credit, and can be used towards future event registrations.
